Headrest DVD Players
Having headrest DVD players is a great way to add more style to your car. It can serve not only as an entertainment tool but can also help your family or other guests in your car relax. You may also tune in to some of your favourite programs by adding one of our DVB-T freeview units to your order.
You will need to measure the diameter of your poles we supply 10mm + 12mm poles, 14mm poles are also available at an extra cost.
The cables will need to be fed inside of your seats, this can be done in two ways, taking the seat back off, this can be tricky as each car is different and there are various ways of removing the seat back.
The other method is to feed the cables through the seat from the top to the bottom, the best way to action this is to use a fish wire.
Once the cables have been fed through your seats you can hard wire the power cable up to a 12 volt power supply, this is typically the nearest Cigarette lighter socket or directly in to the fuse box.
Or you can use our more popular plug & play cigarette lighter adaptor method this way of installation is truly plug & play (please note you will need 1x cigarette lighter adaptor for each headrest dvd player)
Now that you have power you can decide how or if you wish you wish to connect the AV IN/Out cables.
If you require both DVD Headrests connecting to each other so that you can watch one movie on both DVD Screens you will need to connect them together, this is straight forward as the cables have male and female ends, and consist of Left Audio, Right Audio and Video.
